Contract negotiation for professional players and athletes

Prior to entering into any contract negotiation we take the time out to fully determine our client’s needs and wants to achieve in respect to the terms and conditions of any contract. Too often too little attention is paid to the finer detail of contracts and other related documents such as heads of agreement.

Players and their agents often get caught by that seemingly innocent clause when the unexplained arises.

Our Director of Legal Services ensures that all contracts and supporting documentation are thoroughly reviewed to ensure our clients’ interests are suitably protected. We keep our clients up to date throughout the negotiation and finalisation process. There is no additional charge for this contract review service.

Placement Opportunities

We actively seek out opportunities for clients wishing to secure professional sporting contracts both here in Australia and overseas. Many clients require advice and guidance on how to secure their first professional opportunity and on what situations to avoid. We use our local and international experience and networks to locate opportunities and provide guidance on the pitfalls.

Individual sponsorship and endorsements

At BrevAlto we believe that too little attention is paid to sponsorship and endorsement opportunities. Too often players sign contracts that strip them of the ability to generate extra income. We believe in maximising all potential revenue through personal sponsorship, product endorsement, public speaking, guest appearances, coaching clinics, clothing and footwear contracts etc.

Media

BrevAlto provides media training to enhance performance and marketability. Our directors have extensive experience including the management and use of the press.

Guidance with personal professional services

BrevAlto is also equipped to ensure that our clients have access to expert advice in financial planning, investments, superannuation, taxation, salary packaging and life and injury insurance.

Career development is an important matter for every professional sports person. At BrevAlto we are determined to understand what our clients wish to achieve in their chosen sport and life after sport. We work closely with clients to ensure the relevant career plans are in place and followed.
