Currently the CEO of Boulton Cleary & Kern Lawyers in Townsville, Barry is an experienced professional business manager whose previous executive roles include; CEO of the Townsville Crocodiles and South Dragons NBL franchises, and the inaugural CEO of TEAMelbourne, an alliance of five of Melbourne’s premier national league sporting clubs. During his five year tenure as an NBL club CEO, Barry also spent two seasons as the chairman of the NBL CEO’s group.

Barry has vast experience in all facets of sports management, in particular sponsorship development and procurement, negotiating player contracts, event coordination and media management. Prior to moving into business management Barry worked in the mining industry in the Human Resources sector. Barry is an accredited FIBA basketball agent and also coaches a Senior Austrlian Rules football club in Queensland.

Jeff has been a partner with Boulton Cleary & Kern for ten years, Boulton Cleary & Kern is a prominent legal firm in the Townsville area. With over twenty years of experience as a lawyer Jeff has dealt with many complex and demanding legal matters. At present he principally practices in the areas of Commercial Litigation, Corporate Reconstruction, Intellectual Property, Contractual Negotiation and Disputes. Jeff has personally represented rugby league and basketball players.

Jeff and his firm provide legal services to the Crocodiles NBL franchise and to the North Queensland Fury A-League franchise. Jeff was involved with the development of international bull riding in Australia, including the foundation of Bull Riding Australia. More recently he has provided advice to Professional Bull Riders Inc in respect to the development of its business activities and the promotion of the sport in Australia.
